Job Duties

  • Operates all the instrumentation needed for the projects (training will be provided as needed).
  • Documents experimental procedures in precise details.
  • Collects and compiles imaging and cell culture data.
  • Prepares reagents and solutions, and performs experimental work as needed, including live cell experiments and cell culture (2D/3D).
  • Troubleshoots problematic results.
  • Manages a limited number of mouse colonies.
  • Performs animal studies.
  • Interacts and reports to the drug development team.
  • Maintains core laboratory organization, monitor lab reagents and do ordering.
  • Optimizes novel assays and protocols under the drug development team guidance.
  • Performs other related job duties as assigned.
  • Plans and conducts experiments, analyzes data, and prepares publications describing results.
  • Helps in training and mentoring of lab personnel, including graduate and undergraduate students.
  • Maintains good communication with lab leader and members.
  • Reads and evaluates literature.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
  • No experience required.
